Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy applies to all tour bookings made on this website. By confirming your booking you accept the following terms.
1. Booking and payment
- To confirm your booking you can pay a 35% deposit of the tour total online (unless a different percentage is shown on the tour page), or pay the full amount.
- If you pay a deposit, the balance is due on the day of the tour, before the activity starts.
- Kids 2 and under go free, but must be included in the booking.
2. Cancellations & refunds
- We offer a full refund if your ship does not dock at port.
- Full refund for boat charter cancellations due to inclement weather.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before your scheduled tour receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour date are charged a $25 fee, deducted from your deposit; the remaining balance is refunded to your original form of payment.
- Cancellations on the day of your tour are not refunded. Please cancel the day before.
Some tours have their own terms (for example, a 48-hour or 3-day notice period); when they do, they are shown in the tour description and apply to that tour.
3. Changes to your reservation
If you need to cancel or change your reservation, please email us at info@roatansnorkelingtours.com with your order number. We strive to accommodate your requests to the best of our ability.
4. Cancellations by us
If we cancel the tour because of bad weather, sea conditions or any other safety reason, you can choose between moving it to another date or a 100% refund of the amount paid.
5. How refunds are made
Refunds are processed within 24 hours of receiving your cancellation request and are returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or PayPal, they can take a few business days to appear.
